LatinoAthlete.com has learned that The lightweight bout is scheduled for 10 rounds and will headline the main event of a Golden Boy Boxing on ESPN card. The Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Robinson Castellanos fight will be going down at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Despite his immense talent Gamboa (26-1, 17 KOs) has gone through a series of promo problems over the past year. The 35-year-old Cuban boxer is apparently back on track. His last fight was four months ago and now in three weeks he will stepping back in the ring against Mexico’s Robinson Castellanos (23-12, 13 KOs).

Their fight will be the main event via Golden Boy on ESPN. The ESPN card will air live on both ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes starting at 8pm EST. Additional under-card fights will air live on ESPN Deportes and streaming live on ESPN3 starting at 7pm EST.

Gamboa last win came via an unimpressive decision win over Rene Alvarado in March. On the flip-side of things Castellanos, will be ending a 14-month layoff. His last fight was in March 2016 when he got knocked out by Oscar Escandon.
