The former New York Yankee 2005 amateur free agent has come a long way. Tonight, Melky capped a three-run ninth inning after he hit a two-run double against closer Matt Bush. The ball went speeding down the right-field line The game winning RBI made the White Sox victorious.
Cabrera hit a two-run double down the right-field line with Hanson diving headfirst across the plate for the winning run. Rangers catcher Jonathan Lucroy tried to make a swiping tag, but was unsuccessful.
