LatinoAthlete.com has steered clear of the Carmelo Anthony shenanigans until a official statement or announcement about Carmelo being trade comes out.

Bottom line the New York Knicks want Carmelo Anthony gone. Anthony is not working out with the Knicks, and Jackson feels that he would do better else where.

As for Carmelo, he has refused to leave. His personal life with LaLa Anthony has crumbled and maybe he is still trying to sort things out.

Carmelo Anthony Trade Circus Continues:

When it comes to the NBA, he needs to wake up just finalize the paperwork needed so he can move on to the Houston Rockets. Texas might be that perfect disposition for him as a player.

Of course, Melo is not happy about it. Anthony is suddenly hesitant to complete the deal in the wake of the proposed hiring of new general manager Scott Perry.

“It appears that Anthony remains committed to finalizing a trade to the Houston Rockets despite the Knicks.”

In addition to Melo’s trade crumbling, the new Knicks president Steve Mills is having second thoughts about keeping him on the team. Word is, he wants a chance to talk to Anthony about possibly remaining in New York.

At this point Mills needs to let Anthony go. Both parties need to move on. Camelo and the Knicks just leaves a sour taste in everyone’s mouth these days.

A source told the News:

“From what I understand Carmelo is under the belief that he’s going to the Rockets. That’s what the Knicks have been telling us; that they’re trading him. I can’t imagine that after all he went through last season with Phil (Jackson) he’s happy with this.”

If that is the case, Let the 33-year-old Puerto Rican NBA player get a fresh start with Houston. Let him go!
