Bartolo Colon Signs with Twins; Mets Not Happy

Bartolo Colon aka The ‘Big Sexy’ has been added to Minnesota Twins never ending pitching rotation to improve their their team.

Bartolo Colon has signed a minor league deal. Read on…

Ok so, if you’ve been keeping up on Bartolo Colon like LatinoAthlete.com, then you’re aware that he was terrible for Atlanta this season.

Bartolo Colon, 44, his stats were 2-8 with an 8.14 ERA, 6.0 K/9 and 2.9 BB/9 in 13 games with Atlanta. What’s even worse is his un-sexy numbers, surrendering 92 hits in 63 innings pitched. Will he be the savior that The Twins are hoping for?

We will see.

The Twins have been suffering when it comes to their starting pitchers aside from Ervin Santana and Jose Berrios.

Right now the Twins are hoping that Colon will stop their sinking ship, but we will have to see how this plays out for the Dominican MLB pitcher who turned his back on the NY Mets for the Minnesota Twins.

It was a shocking turn of events when the the Mets made a “strong effort” to bring Bartolo back to Citi Field, but he went else where. The Mets were “stunned” that Colon choose otherwise by signing with the Twins. With Bartolo signing with the Twins, New York’s current situation is still disastrous and they are not happy about missing out on the 44-year-old pitcher.
