This little guy’s gonna be in the Iditarod someday! (The dog, not Barack.)

Barack Obama has been in Alaska this week and became the first sitting president to visit a site north of the Arctic Circle. While in Kotzebue, a town of 3,000 way deep in the northwest of the state, Obama met musher John Baker, who won the 2011 Iditarod. And Baker let Obama cuddle one of his HUSKY PUPPIES HUSKY PUPPY OMG IT’S A HUSKY PUPPY

Got to meet Kotzebue’s own Iditarod champion John Baker and Feather, one his puppies. -bo
