LatinoAthlete.com has the results from the Jose Aldo vs Max Holloway fight from Brazil and it pains us to say Aldo lost.
Jose Aldo vs Max Holloway Results:
It was a site to see as Max Holloway (18-3 MMA, 14-3 UFC) literally dethroned titleholder and Brazilian hero Jose Aldo (26-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and walked away with the Featherweight title. It was one of the most dramatic fights this year in the UFC. Holloway silenced a very pro-Aldo crowd with a brutal third-round TKO, becoming the new undisputed champ and the king of 145 pounds.
Before the fight Bloody Elbow is reporting before Saturday’s UFC 212 pay-per-view headliner at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Max met with UFC president Dana White. Apparently the two men spoke about Halloway making a bigger payday competing inside the Octagon.

Well, it appears that Max Holloway is ready to make the leap into the Octagon since he is planning on meeting with the UFC boss soon.
Holloway explained:
“Dana White told me, we had a meeting before [the fight] and he said this is big game hunting. The bigger the game you bring in to the table, the bigger paychecks you get. I think Aldo, he’s a silver-backed gorilla. Now I want my paycheck.”
Though, rest assure that Holloway will not abandon his title in favor of pursuing bigger named fights. Instead, he made his voice heard very clearly.
Halloway has his eyes set on Hawaii, a first for the UFC.
It would be crazy for White to deny him the chance to headline an event in the Aloha state
He stated:
“I don’t want money fights. I want to get paid. Like I said, I want to defend my title. I’m going to be here for a long time and why not do it in Hawaii?”
